Our twelfth week of learning at home! The government have now announced that there will be no further opening of schools until September so it looks like we will keep going! Not sure what to do about the summer ‘holiday’ weeks…
This week Matthew’s school wanted a project on castles so I extended it a little so that all 3 could join in. We still kept to our usual schedule so here is the plan versus the reality:

Work from school: castlesWe have visited a lot of castles together as a family. One of the most recent is the Tower of London. As well as looking back at our own photos, we watched the TV show Great British Castles episode.Looked at some of the castles we have visited, looked for similarities and differences. We discussed the purpose of castles as a whole and different specific parts. We considered the locations and how this tied to purpose. |
